It all began when I chose to let go. I walked away from a job that left me overworked, overlooked, and undervalued. With no plan, no safety net, and only my child depending on me, I leapt into the unknown—driven by the hope of something more.

That’s when life took a beautiful turn.

A chance encounter with a radio commercial led me to massage therapy school. In 1998, I became a licensed massage therapist, and what began as a career path quickly revealed itself to be a calling. Through massage, I discovered the incredible power of presence, compassion, and touch. It was my first step into self-care and, ultimately, into helping others heal.

Over time, that foundation blossomed into something bigger—books, creative therapies, and the Cuddle Power Movement, which brings together all the lessons I’ve learned along the way: that self-care should be heartfelt, healing, and fun.

I’m a lifelong creative who believes in the beauty of embracing your full self—flaws, sparkle, and all. Through handmade Cuddle Power Bears, feel-good affirmations, thoughtful conversations, and coaching, I help others rediscover their worth and nurture their emotional well-being. Whether I’m writing, podcasting, or packing a Cuddle Power Bear with love, my goal is always the same: to remind you that you are enough, you are loved, and you absolutely deserve to be the most exceptionally awesome version of yourself.
